CoolSculpting® is a safe, FDA-cleared body-contouring procedure. It employs non-invasive technology to reduce fat without surgery. It requires little to no downtime. Furthermore, the procedure has a high safety profile. CoolSculpting® side effects are rare. However, following the treatment, some patients experience symptoms associated with an immune response. After your fat freezing procedure, you may experience mild redness, tenderness, bruising or swelling in the treatment area. These symptoms occur as the immune system collects and removes frozen fat cells from the body. These mild symptoms are temporary. They should resolve themselves within a week or two after your fat-freezing procedure.
